Office 2007 crashes on shut down

Whenever I shut down Word (2007) without saving I get a message "Microsoft Office Word has stopped working"

I haven't made any system changes recently and all my updates are up to date.
Been working fine for the last year.
Same happens on Excel. 

I'm using Vista.
Any more details - just ask
