Tech Support: pasting formulas and keep source formatting

pasting formulas and keep source formatting

Is there any way to copy and paste formulas and keep the source formatting
in Excel 2007? Is it available in later version of Office? Thanks for your help? It seems if I want to keep the source formatting and I need to just click paste and then I lose the formulas.

I don't have 2007 on this system to check with, but in 2010 there is this option under the Paste dropdown that copies formulas and all of the source cell's formatting (number, colors and conditional formatting)

If that's not available you could do it with Paste Special in 2 operations:  first paste the formulas, then the formats.

In this method we will try to Boot in Safe mode with Networking and see if the error still persists.

  • Search "MSCONFIG" and Open.
  • Click on Boot Tab
  • Tick Safe Boot in Boot Option
  • Select Network.
  • Click Apply and OK.
  • Reboot your System.
