Hi,
1.     Have you made any changes to your computer prior to this issue?
Method 1.
Ensure that Shell Hardware Detection service is running.
AutoPlay might be restricted by Group Policy, it could be canceled by a program that is running, or the service that AutoPlay needs to start might not be running.
Here are some things to try:
Follow these steps:
a.
Click the Start button, click All Programs, click Accessories, and then
right-click Command Prompt.
b.
Click Run as administrator.
c.
At the command prompt, type net start shellhwdetection, and then press
ENTER.
d.
Restart your computer.

Method 2.
Let us ensure that correct NoDriveTypeAutoRun and/or NoDriveAutoRun
policy value is set.
To check this setting, run Registry Editor (regedit).

Important: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry.
However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly.
Therefore, make sure that you follow these
steps carefully.
For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it.
Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.
For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click the windows help article below.
Back up the registry

c.
Locate the NoDriveTypeAutoRun registry entry on the right pane.
d.
Set NoDriveTypeAutoRun to default value as set by Windows 7, which is 0×00000091 (hexadecimal) or 145 (decimal).
