· What is the make and model number of the computer?
· Which is the service pack installed?
· Were there any changes made on the computer prior to the issue?
· Do you have Windows XP disk?
 
Get the exact error message and error code by disabling automatic restart on system failure.
Follow the below steps:
a.     Restart the computer and press and hold F8 key (Press and hold f8 key before the windows logo).
b.     From the advanced boot option select “Disable Automatic restart at system failure”
 
Try the below methods:
Method 1:
Remove all the external devices connected to the computer like printers, scanners or external USB hard disk and restart the computer and check if it helps.
 
Method 2:
Check if you are able to boot in safe mode, to boot the computer in safe mode:
